Hey. I am writing this using google translate so good luck reading my comment. Cool game went through just a couple of levels and decided to write it. I really like the graphic component. although the graphics are very simple, but they are cute <3. well-chosen colors. You made cool effects and animations. management failed a bit. there is a delay. In general, I like the game! subscribed to your youtube channel. good luck in game dev!
I thought that this game was really well done! It is beautifully simple, and was very enjoyable to play. I was genuinely invested in this tiny puzzle game that was at times harder than it looked.
The one thing I struggled with was the responsiveness of the jump button, but that has been addressed by both players and creators, so I won't go into detail about that. Besides the finicky jumping, I found 2 minor problems, neither game breaking. First, the triangular part of the bullet has no collision so lasers go through them.
The other one has no effect on the game, it's just if the character hits the side of a platform, and continues to hold the direction of the platform (ex: you jump into the top left corner of a platform and continue to hold right), the character just never falls. They stay stuck to the side of the wall until the arrow key is released. Very minor bug that doesn't affect gameplay at all, but I thought I'd let it out there.
It was a joy to play, and I look forward to seeing what is done from here on. Best Wishes!
Thank you so much for playing and leaving great feedback.
I'll be fixing all of the issues you've mentioned. Thank you for letting me know! I've got an ever expanding list of bugs and improvements to make X) I'll also be adding levels and mechanics that will take the game to the next level (hopefully). Stay tuned!
The keyboard controls are a little tough to get down, but the game mechanics are solid and well taught, and beyond that the game is very charming. This game would be ideal on a gamepad.
I love this game! I enjoyed the graphics, the mechanics and the style was clear and simple! I found it through the Racial Justice and Equality bundle, and I recommend buying it! Without it, I wouldn't have found gems like this :D
Absolutely loved playing this! I found it through the Racial Justice and Equality bundle and it just stuck out to me when I was looking through the games! Everything just clicks so nicely, it's great! I'm actually working on a game similar to this, so while I'm envious of how well made this game is, I'm also taking a few notes aha! Nice work! :-)
thanks for playing! I tried your game and the concept and the visuals are really cool. I don't know if you're talking about MonoShift but I certainly see some similarities there. Good luck with your development!
Wonderful platformer, Love games that give me a chance to complete them. Started following you on youtube. Looking forward to more levels with more envrionmental enemies and lasers. Great work.
Very unique game concept! I like the graphics and the animated transitions. Perhaps the transition could be slightly faster, and if you hold the UP key you continue to jump.
Amazing job, dude! Towards the end, I kind of wish it was a little bit more challenging. The movement did take a while, for me, to get used to. Also, the first level that introduces the lasers I had to restart it because the bullet never destroyed itself and I couldn't proceed.
I'll add a +1 to the comment of @Cam. Sometimes jumping feels kind of off. When i move towards an edge and jump off i often just drop off without a jump since i apparently did not press the key early enough. I guess though that is an issue since the ground or character collider is not really a rectangle? ;) Kind of frustrating at times. Other then that walls seem to be a bit sticky, would probably be more fun if i did not get stuck on edges and could instead "slide the last 2 pixels upwards".
I like this game a ton. The mechanics are very fun, the sounds are good, and the transitions are nice. I did notice on the stage "PFF" i shot the bullet and it didn't collide with the wall for some reason like it does in every other level, so I had to run into the laser to restart the level, other than that, I didn't notice any thing not working the way it should
What an amazing game! I played it right through and adored the polish put into this.
Aesthetically it's right up my alley. The minimalism and colours worked great. The little things like transitioning on level reset/advance, screenshake and particles are all tops.
I loved the sequencing of levels and introduction of new ways to navigate the levels. Funnily enough the hardest level for me was "Gah"!
In general I feel like the bullet collider could've been a bit more generous towards the player to provide more cover. Or maybe the laser's collider been a pixel or two smaller.
I would've loved R being mapped to restart, just to shave milliseconds off my retry and somehow fixing that dreaded Unity 2D platforming issue of sticking to platform edges and not being able to jump. Perhaps a physics material would fix that but in my experience it doesn't always feel right.
I'm very envious of your game, I can't wait to check out your code to see how you did things.
Hey Cam thanks so much for your heart warming comment!
You are right, the bullet is a little small and the laser can get you even when you think you are covered. I will fix that.
I've been thinking of mapping R to restart but completely forgot! I shall fix that as well.
Do you mind sharing a screenshot or describe to me when the sticking happens? That's no bueno. The composite tilemap collider wasn't working for me so it may be that there are gaps between the tiles or something...
My code is a complete hodgepodge - please go easy on me! XD

I myself recently began to learn C #.
I liked your channel! even though I understand little in English <3
haha no I'm never going to be an AAA developer. I'll just be doing small projects that I'm passionate about.
Good luck with your C# journey! I'm very bad but slowly learning!

cool game! played right through and really liked the difficulty - challenging but not too hard. :D keep up the good work! <3<3<3
thanks! I'll be adding more levels so stay tuned!
I think u can use blocks or bullets to block it. (sorry I can't remember)
The keyboard controls are a little tough to get down, but the game mechanics are solid and well taught, and beyond that the game is very charming. This game would be ideal on a gamepad.
thank you! I'll have to look into how to implement that!

Thank you for playing! Good luck to you too! :-)
Great game! However, user problem. I keep saying ZA WARUDO and TIME WILL NOW RESUME each time I use time stop. Send help.

hey thank you for creating a playthrough! I'm flattered.
More levels are coming indeed, stay tuned!
Pretty fun; I made it to the "gah" level with the falling blocks. Though, I would like some grace jumping.
Just added coyote time so it is more forgiving when jumping off ledges!
Cheers!
Short & sweet, fun mechanic! Enjoy the minimalist aesthetic and juicy/bouncy animation! Great work! :D
thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very unique game concept! I like the graphics and the animated transitions. Perhaps the transition could be slightly faster, and if you hold the UP key you continue to jump.
thank you! Yes the jump may be slightly tweaked in the next version and I'll take a look at the transition speed.
Cheers!

Hey obarroso,
Thank you so much for your donation. You have no idea how much that means to me :D You are an awesome human being!
Rest assured that the new levels I will be making will introduce new mechanics and be more challenging. Stay tuned!
And yes I will fix that level asap!
haha thank you!
dude this game is awesome!! i wish you would make more levels in the future!
thanks! Stay tuned, I will be making more levels and improving the overall game experience!
Nicely done man Keep rocking!
thanks will do!
Great game!
thank you!
In general nice, well done so far!

Hey thank you for playing!
Yes I will be fixing the player control issue in the next patch.
And yes I think I forgot to make the physics material of the bullets and the boxes to have no friction. I'll get that fixed as well.
Cheers!
Amazing game! Very fun mechanics

Cheers!
